Authorization

I authorize MPB Works to perform repairs on my vehicle. Payment is due in full before release, including supplemental charges. I allow MPB Works employees to drive my vehicle for testing, inspection, or repair. A mechanic’s lien is placed on the vehicle to secure payment. Removed parts will be discarded unless requested otherwise. MPB Works is not responsible for loss or damage caused by fire, theft, accident, or other events not due to negligence.

Payment & Insurance

I authorize MPB Works to collect all funds related to my repairs, including labor, parts, procedures, and price differences. This includes checks payable to MPB Works and checks payable jointly to me and MPB Works. I authorize MPB Works to endorse and deposit these checks. Supplemental charges may be made payable to MPB Works. I authorize MPB Works to file and enforce a mechanic’s lien for unpaid charges under Texas Property Code Section 70.001. If payment is returned or invalid (NSF, stop payment, closed account), I understand the vehicle may be repossessed under Texas Business & Commerce Code Section 9.503. I confirm I am the person, or authorized agent, responsible for payment.

Vehicle Release Rules

• Full payment is required before release unless arranged in advance.
• Returned checks may result in a $75 fee, lien, or towing.
• Deductibles are payable to MPB Works.
• Multi-party checks must be endorsed before release.
• Canceling after drop-off or parts order may result in a $200 fee.
• Returned payments may include a $50 return-payment fee (plus card fees if applicable).
• Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.
• Personal items left in the vehicle are the owner’s responsibility.
• Canceling after parts are ordered may require restocking-fee payment.
• Storage fees may apply after 3 days from completion notice.
